Designing Tyra and the Evil Plant: 

My lead character Tyra was in part inspired by myself over the first lock-down​ when I began collecting house plants much to the annoyance of my family. I wanted Tyra to be relatable and strong to show that everyone has a side of them they was badly affected by isolation. 

The plant is meant to represent all of Tyra's fear of leaving her apartment during the pandemic continuing into the easing of restrictions. The plant grows and changes throughout the film changing colour through each new mood of the film.
